2020 Chevy Equinox Features & Road Review

** I'm separating this Looong video into 2 parts. (1 being driving dynamics & 2, the features).. Here's the two video links for this same review.

Note: 2 Different Videos edited together to create one (2 Equinox models shown)... Over all, I really did like this SUV. It's comfy, Fast, reasonable-good on fuel, for it's Power !!..and one of the best Infotainment systems ! Lots of bells and whistle.. * Now, the 2020's have the Techy Safety features STD on all levels... I don't like the engine off/on thing, but it has a bypass (just by chance), so that helps. its not such a big deal most of the time, & can use the bypass method in video, when in stop/go heavy traffic,. But it's not perfect & I do like the New Santa Fe (not so quick), & New Outback (will test it soon, when it's in dealers) before I make my final decision on my new car.
Note: Some corrections and further details on the vehicle.
- Driving in L mode, by-passes the Engine off/on thing at stops.. Cool.
- 252Hp & 260 lb./f torque
- further testing, I got under 4sec. for 50-70mph test, consistently, when I start from 40mph, to get the turbo going & moving & timed the 50-70 that way.. & 4.5 sec. if just hit it from 50 7& timed it to 70mph.. That’s pretty Fast!
- 10 position seating, not 8 (if count the seating tilt angle)
- 15.1 Sec. for ¼, not 15.5 sec. Correction... That's Fast !
- Ford Escape is competing model, not Edge (if I said that)
-- Rear Cross traffic alert does not have the added brake assist (Subaru's do)
- has teen driver app, for recording your teens driving habits & can preset a few things to assist them..
- 6 speed auto tranny in lower the 1.5L engine trims, 9 speed only with the 2.0L Turbo
* 2.0L premier has trailer hitch only * 17” Wheels on 1.5L LT’s * 18” Wheels on 1.5L Premier & 19” Wheels on 2.0L ** 2L turbo can tow up to 3,500lbs !
- Tire pressure sensor & reading in all trims from the info centre screen
* certain added features like power lift gate, larger infotainment screen, navigation, LED lights, memory seats, etc.. are only as added features or on higher trim, even then, as added package. * 4G LTE Capable *
- Head Clearance – more than my whole hand w/No sunroof, Super good for it's class
- Does Not get IIHS Top Saferty Pick. It's not Bad, but other vehicles have higher score
- Headlamps only receive a moderate score for brightness/visibility score. See IIHS link below.
Note: Headlamps do not turn with car
