How to tell how much something will sell for on ebay

I use several tools when selling items sell on Ebay, like this tape measure https://seedtime.com/tape-measure. Recently, I've found a really cool tool to tell how much an item will sell for on Ebay... and I want to share this tip with you!

Not only can you know what an item could sell for, but how likely it is to sell. I don't like wasting time and I'm sure you don't either! With that being said, let me just get right to it and let you in on this secret!
1️⃣► RESEARCHING THE ITEM YOU WANT TO SELL (00:14)

Search for your item and then click on the advanced search button. From here, select: sold listing. A sold list will populate of the item you are looking to sell. You will see what each item actually sold for and how many bids were placed on the item.
2️⃣► KNOWING THE BALLPARK FIGURE (01:25)

From your research, you will know what price your item will probably NOT sell for. You also will be confident in knowing how much money you can expect to get for your item. When you price your item in the right price range, you are more likely to sell that item!
3️⃣► ITEMS THAT DID NOT SELL (02:00)

Be even more informed by viewing the completed listings! Go back to your advanced search and select completed listings. A new list will populate of items that were listed but did not sell. This list will also provide you clues as to why the listed item did not sell (i.e. price to high, etc).
4️⃣► MY ITEM DID NOT SELL, NOW WHAT? (03:10)

If you see that your item did not sell, go back to your research. If in your research you found that other auctions for that same item did sell for the around the same price, re-list! Someone out there will be willing to buy your item in that same price range.
5️⃣► TIPS FOR HELPING YOUR ITEM SELL (03:49)

When brands are listed, items tend to sell quicker. So, my eBay pro tip to you would be: Attach the brand name to your listing of the item you're selling!
