Plants vs Zombies 2 - PIRATE SEAS (All Levels) [HD]

I'd like to open up with a theory/prediction. Because PVZ3 was recently released, I think it means that major game-changing updates to PVZ2 are finished. This means that these videos will age significantly better than other walkthroughs of PVZ2 out there, being released in full HD near the end of the game's update cycles.

Now, onto the walkthrough.

Pirate seas is an interesting stage. The world's gimmick definitely favors you, as opposed to the gimmick in Ancient Egypt where graves obstructed your plants. Though the addition of water makes less available space to plant on, the zombies that come from boardwalk-less water lanes are much less durable, and zombie paths become much more predictable, due to there being less lanes regular zombies can come from. However, long-ranged plants aren't very effective on the lanes without a boardwalk, as the swashbucklers and imps can simply bypass half your lawn's distance.

Plants with short range such as bonk choy, as well as ones that deal area of effect damage are going to be your friend in this world. Spam spikeweed, spikerock, cherry bomb, wall-nuts and snapdragons, and this world is a pretty easy win. Zombies are still the same in number as any other world, but less limited to the lanes they can appear in, due to the world's gimmick. This makes plants that deal AOE damage even more valuable, as the toughest zombies near the later days are going to all be massively grouped up in the two lanes with boardwalks.

As a final note, spring bean is also very powerful in Pirate Seas, and despite appearing like a gimmick plant suited only to this world, it's got a powerful use case even outside this world. I'll explain why once we reach far future.

Oh yeah, and you can cancel the Zombot's charge attack with plant food attacks.
