Tesla Model X Road trip - 2000 KMs - Canada to Florida, A big Problem [in Winter]

This is a vlog of our first Tesla model x Road trip. A Tesla road trip from Canada to Florida. All the way from Toronto to Orlando in a Tesla, that is 2000 kms of pure electric travel each side. We went in winter which was a little bit of challenge because of range loss.

This was a challenging trip because of extreme cold and also we faced an issue. Watch in this video how the issue was resolved by Tesla.

Tesla is a great car but often people ask whether Tesla is any good for a long roadtrip because it takes a long time charging, so i have tried to capture my experience of road trip in Tesla and charging mainly on Tesla superchargers. This video will give you a confidence that a really long 2000kms roadtrip can be done easily on tesla even in extreme cold.

However one thing to keep in mind is that the range of an electric car is significantly reduced in extreme cold and it takes longer to charge the car on superchargers.

Also other concern which people have is the reliability of the Tesla cars, so you will also know about reliability of the tesla cars specially on the long roadtrips.
