Ditch the Box Episode 14: Microsoft Teams Panels from Crestron

In this episode of Ditch the Box I show you the new Microsoft Teams Panels from Crestron - the TSS-770 and TSS-1070.

These room scheduling panels from Crestron have been available for a little while now. What's new is that they are now certified to run the Microsoft Teams Panel interface. Teams Panels are a new category from Microsoft that gives you a room scheduling interface that doesn't require any 3rd party services. They sign natively into Azure AD, Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.

They are available in two sizes. The 7 inch and 10 inch models feature bright capacitive multi-touch screens, a proximity sensor to detect nearby motion to wake the screen on approach. They run on Android 9.0 and runs on PoE+ via your structured cabling. They have dual USB ports for accessories like the lightbar presence indicator or either the customisable room hallway sign or room hallway indicator, as well as an additional PoE powered occupancy sensor. Optional mounting kits can be used to affix the touch screens to multiple surfaces, including plasterboard or a glass wall.

The Crestron Room Scheduling panels work out of the box with Microsoft Teams & Exchange as well as an additional 14 vendors.

Management as always is via a built in web UI and the Crestron XiO Cloud.
