Porsche 996 911 Engine Mount Replacement DIY (Carrera, Boxster, & Cayman)
►Engine mount replacement on your Porsche 996 911 is one of the common jobs you will have to tackle sometime before your car hits the 100,000-mile mark. Depending on how you, or the previous owner, drove the car, the engine mounts could need replacement much sooner than that.

00:00 - 01:29 - Intro and tools needed
01:30 - 02:36 - Unclip MAF Sensor and remove the airbox
02:37 - 04:02 - Remove the secondary air pump
04:03 - 04:40 - Support bottom of the engine with a floor jack
04:41 - 05:39 - Remove the two 18mm nuts on the engine mounts
05:40 - 05:56 - Loosen the two 13mm bolts on top of the engine mount and remove the mount
05:57 - 06:36 - Install the engine mount and torque down the two 13mm bolts on top
06:37 - 07:14 - Repeat the last two steps for the passenger side engine mount
07:15 - 07:38 - Install and torque down the two 18mm bolts on the bottom of the engine mount
07:39 - 8:58 - Reinstall the secondary air pump
08:59 - 10:34 - Reinstall the airbox assembly
10:35 - 10:44 - Lower the engine back down off of the floor jack
10:45 - 11:16 - Final thoughts, thanks for watching
