Working Some Cow And Calf Pairs With The Rawhide | Won't Be Long Until We Are Weaning These Calves!

We pulled the #Rawhide Portable #Corral to one of our rented pastures so we could work some #cow and calf pairs. This pasture does not have a catch lot. In the past we have had to setup panels to catch calves, move them to another location, work them and move them back. It was quite an event.

We are really enjoying the Rawhide. It makes catching the cows and calves much easier. We are still figuring out the automatic head gate, but we are getting there. We will be moving this Rawhide around to several different pastures over the next few weeks and getting all our cows and calves up to date on their shots.

We gave each cow and calf a vaccine shot, a black leg shot, and pour on wormer. We banded each bull calf and tagged all the calves.
