With This Ring, I Thee Sue

The plaintiff and defendant were high school sweethearts, got married, and had two children. The plaintiff argues the defendant was controlling and gave her curfews. She’s suing for the balance of a wedding ring and marital debt. The defendant says the plaintiff is jealous because he’s in a relationship and living with the plaintiff’s cousin. He doesn’t think he owes her.
