Why You Need a Website, How to Make One and Why They're Like Bitcoin
Not knowing how to make a website in 2021 is like not understanding social media 10 years ago. You need a website and have a lot of different options: https://davidutke.com/bluehost
Everyone needs a website, at a bare minimum a website you'll want a personal website if you're going to position yourself as an expert in some capacity. You don't just want to base your online presence only your social media platforms. Also, learning how to make a website is like Bitcoin in that once you know how to make a website, you'll want to continually learn how to make money with a website as well as help people.
To get started with a website you'll need a domain name, a hosting account, a content management system and a plan. Alternatively you can go with a website builder if there is a specific style or price point you want. Google Sites is free but for personal use, Squarespace is ideal for blogging and portfolio websites. Wix is good for drop shipping and Shopify is ideal if you want to start a store.

👉 Start using WordPress. In most of my tutorials I suggest WordPress
►Bluehost is best for bloggers:

►SiteGround is best for Woo Commerce: https://davidutke.com/sg
►Ghost is best for subscription revenue with email marketing

▬▬▬
👉 Hosted platforms are good too. I like Ghost.org and Squarespace for anyone looking for a non-techy solution to create a website
►Squarespace is the overall best choice for design and blogging:

►Need an online store? You'll love the ease of use found on the Shopify platform ➡ https://davidutke.com/ghost

Websites built with WordPress are bit more complex than going with a website builder. You have a wide range of plugins, themes and page builders to use. You'll want to understand HTML and CSS as well as a strong understanding of SEO.
