Here's my English adaptation of the text:

It’s difficult to walk among the crowds,
maintaining your “I haven’t died” pretense,
and of all the tragic games of passions
telling those, whose lives have yet to commence.

And then peering into your own nightmares,
find order in chaos of desire,
so that in the afterglow of your art,
they will recognize life’s deadly fire.

Everything on earth will die: youth, mother;
wife may betray you, depart once close friend,
teach yourself to savor bliss another,
let your gaze to the polar cap ascend.

Embark and to the distant pole set sail,
walled by the ice, to forget aspire
how they have loved and struggled and died here,
forgetting the passions’ fatal fire.

Then allow your soul tired of living,
to shiver in the languid chill immersed,
so that here she needs not a single thing,
when dazzling lights from ‘there’ suddenly burst.
