Time Lapse With Music- Value Patterns
This is a fast version of a longer video. It is sped up to music.
This video demonstrates the different value patterns that you can use in a drawing- chiaroscuro, high key value, middle key value, low key value, and tenebrism. In this video I used colored pencil. I created a ten step value scale, and created an object in each of the value patterns. You will practice the different value patterns and learn how they create different visual effects and moods. You can draw along with the video or create your own objects.
