Nikola Tesla was a Serbian Scientist who lived and worked in New York City, USA. He invented Alternating Current (AC) and rivalled Thomas Edison in the electricity business. Edison was the pioneer of Direct Current (DC). The rivalry between both these scientific geniuses is known as the War of the Currents. Tesla's inventions like Tesla Coil, Induction Motor and other inventions are also famous. Tesla also contributed to the invention of the radio and wireless sets along with Marconi.
