Joe Dispenza Meditation - Benefits and Effects After 6 Months of Daily Meditation

I did the "Tuning Into New Potentials" meditation by Dr. Joe Dispenza Meditation for 6 months almost daily. There have been days where I didn't meditate due to travels or other events. I would say I did it at around 85% of the days. In the video, I felt like sharing the benefits I got from the meditation. I assume that these are the effects you can expect as well.

Here is a quick summary of the benefits I got out of it:

1. Benefit: More Patience I used to be extremely impatient when it came to achieving my goals. This has stopped me from enjoying other things. Things don't necessarily serve my goals. With the meditation, I got increasingly more patient and learned to embrace the process, no matter what it looked like. I attribute this to the fact that, every day, you are in this spot where you are already it. You feel it. You know what it's like to be at that spot. And you take this emotion with you and go by your day like that person who has already achieved his goal. So slowly, my impatience faded. There wasn't a reason to be impatient. Why be impatient when you are already there? When you know that you will reach it no matter what and that, in combination, where you are right now is totally fine & wonderful too? No need to be impatient.

2. Benefit: Less Pressure & Negativity
Related to benefit #1 but still different enough to separate in my opinion. It’s hard to stay positive when your goal is so far away and it’s freaking hard to work on it every day to make such a marginal progress. That’s where negativity, hopelessness, desperation can come in. Those alone are challenging, but often they lead to worse things, like stopping altogether. In the past, my self talk wasn’t the best and it was hard to keep a positive opinion about myself. How could I be positive when all I did was fail? Failing in the eyes of my future self, that is. Meaning: Not being the person I want to be yet.

With the meditation by Dr. Joe Dispenza, I felt this pressure and negative self-talk slowly fade away over time. I naturally loved myself more over time, without needing to make tangible progress on the outside. Making progress on the outside was usually my way of measuring my self-worth and life quality. But life happens and things don’t always go upwards. So that’s a bad way to measure your self-worth. The meditation helped me find love form the inside and be grateful for my current situation, the path I’m on and the places I will go. This means I can walk around as a free person, not needing approval from the outside world. I know I’ll make it. That’s fine.

3. Benefit: Automatic habit change
As mentioned in the video, it’s very hard to put a label onto this. But I tried: You align yourelf with your future self so much and so vividly, that you slowly become that person – even on the inside. This has a dramatic effect on how you go by your day. I found myself suddenly disliking things that don’t serve me, without even “wanting” to change my preference for such things. It just happened. The example in the video is this: It’s like you are a smoker and want to quit smoking. You do the meditation every day for X amount of time. In my experience, you won’t need to actively, forcefully try to change your habit. Something on the inside does it for you. So you keep on smoking because you know, eventually the time comes where you put a cigarette in your mouth and it tastes horrible. You will just want to stop smoking naturally at that point. Craziest benefit of the meditation I think. It’s like something on the inside knows what’s good for you and spins the right gears so you can reach what you want. Wild.
