1000hp Blown 565 Big Block 1971 Chevy Camaro Build

With its killer paint and blown 565 Big Block, Jay's 1971 Chevy Camaro is a show stopping pro street build.

Jay acquired the 1971 Chevy Camaro in 2017 with the 565 Big Block engine already in it, but he added few more things to make the build a complete show stopper. The results are multiple best paint awards including the Super Chevy in New England and a Velocity feature.

He power coated the entire 1971 Camaro trim in Black (previously wrapped vinyl). Went through the TH400 transmission and rebuilt it with Coan Engineering Billet 6 bolt converter and Billet Valve Body with brake. Added the 10-71 High Helix Billet blower to make the 565 Big Block a 1,000rwhp powerplant.

Jay's 565 big block 1971 Chevy Camaro rides on Sanders Engineering bead lock rims wrapped in 33x22.5x15 Mickey Thompson tires on the rear. The car has a Dana 60 rear end with Moser axles and spool package. And the exhaust is 4" with Magnaflow race mufflers.
