The ICON Trailer Lock has several extreme weather proofing to protect the internal lock mechanism. Condensation can still form between the lock body and the lock's protective shell.
If you find your lock "frozen" break the ice with a tap to the body allowing the internal mechanical components to release from any ice. The disc detainer locking mechanism will not be affected as there are internal weather proofing seals to prevent moisture inside.
