Half Dome, you’re equal parts absolutely stunning and a total jerk—is that fair? 😅

Half Dome you’ve been on my bucket list so long and I *nearly* conquered you. You were the best and also the most challenging. Even though elevation, smoke inhalation and sheer exhaustion got the best of me less than a mile from the top, I still can’t wait to try and conquer you again (next time I’d camp rather than doing 16 miles and 5200ft in elevation gain in one day 😅). This hike is now filed in my brain as one my favorite memories even if it did almost kill me lol. Sometimes it’s less about the end game and more about who you get to journey with. There’s no one else I’d rather hike out at 11pm with then these ladies—the support and the laughs on this adventure were endless (and priceless). I can’t believe we climbed down the stone steps of the Mist Trail in total darkness by headlamp while also being in fear of bears. What a hilariously insane adventure and I couldn’t have done it without you 💖 #halfdome
