Common Myths of Concussions
Concussions are common, but they can be scary. With proper evaluation and treatment, however, the effects are usually temporary. Join Mark Halstead, MD, director of Washington University’s Sports Concussion Program, and Jaimie Bauerlein PT, DPT, OCS, with St. Louis Children’s Hospital as they help parents understand appropriate levels of activity, when kids should return to school and how to manage screen time after a concussion.
