Clockwork Spiral Pump

This afternoon we built a miniature spiral pump based on a water pump design invented in 1746. We built the spiral from poly piping and attached a cog and piston to a gramophone mechanism for the rotation. It's clockwork!

It's so cool even at this prototype stage, we've decided to develop it into our next project!
