Flower Festival: Russian Fair, Parade of Finno-Ugric Peoples

Every third Saturday of June in the Republic of Mari El (Russia) is a flower festival. This is a traditional Finno-Ugric holiday called the Peledysh. Celebrations began with a parade of Finno-Ugric peoples. Representatives of other nationalities hold fairs and celebrations on this day.
