📌 Notes: On 4/21 Shadow flew into the nest, and was favoring his left leg/foot, he has been able to do all things eagle and take care of the chicks. Also on 4/21 Jackie delivered a fish, and it was soon discovered there was a fishing line involved. She struggled with the line but eventually swallowed it. There was no confirmed hook, sinker,or lure. She may cast a pellet later. Jackie has been eating and feeding the chicks as she normally does. We will continue to keep our eyes on both.

The video opens with Shadow flying in with a fish. He does limp on the nest and does not stay long & flies off. Jackie begins a feeding for both chicks who already have full crops from the previous feeding! The chicks seem to have grown overnight - now with their super sized crops, they will be bigger tomorrow!

The chicks are 19 days old & they weigh about 3 pounds! Those are some big chicks! By the end of the week they will be about a foot tall now!

Jackie will call out for Shadow and he comes flying in with talons of fluff! As Shadow walks to the nest bowl, we have a zoom on his left foot. I slowed down the speed so everyone can see it is swollen but no external injury to it. It is most likely a sprain which will be sore for awhile. Shadow continues to do all his Daddy duties and it does not affect his fishing ability.

Jackie returns with fluff herself! She feeds the chicks again (not shown due to the length of the video) but afterwards she puts the fluff on the chicks!! ♥ Jackie & Shadow are taking excellent care of them with these frequent feedings! Thank you for watching!
