Story Explanation : The storyline isn’t that planned out or detailed. So basically Todoroki and Bakugo get into a relationship and they’re pretty serious about it, the rings symbolizing so. They both agree to keep it private too. But then Bakugo starts to act distant and, as usual, aggressive. He gets way too pissed off at small rumors of them and seems to look at others with interest. It’s kinda like he’s taking advantage of the quiet relationship. Or maybe he sees being in a relationship as a weakness. Todoroki confronts him at one point, but was swept by Bakugo’s sweet words or something. Todoroki finally puts an end to it in the fight scene.
From Bakugo’s perspective, he wasn’t doing anything wrong and thought Todoroki was being dramatic, wasn’t taking Bakugo seriously and so on, so he gladly took him on in a fight. But Bakugo still has the chain until the end before it falls off, showing that he still cared for Todoroki dearly. He just let his pride get the best of him and not being considerate. It’s just a lot of mistakes and lack of communication lml.
