Top 1 Best Off Meta hunting weapon, guaranteed. Even cleaner than the Volt run and a night shorter than 50:00. I think at this point we can say this weapon is the best at everything.

Grab it now from Father in the Necralisk with Phasic Cells from Operation Orphix Venom.

Because the build already had Radiation, this is the exact same weapon build as the Volt run. I forgot to put Vigorous Swap on Lavos, so he should hit harder than shown here, or I could just drop Eclipse and it would still work well. Or I could just not shoot through Volt Shields. Options!

The altfire remains useless in hunting, but Lavos himself brings interesting aspects to the table.
His 4 can instantly nuke voms, and has an extremely wide radius. We dump Eff on this build because we won't be casting his abilities as much. The 4 does enough damage to constantly ghost voms, meaning any amp shots will instantly core the Voms., especially if you infuse the 4 with Electric first, which Voms are weak to.

The 3 can be used to help reset your 4, but it also has enough range and damage to kill Voms also. His 2 is a hard CC for Voms and does a fair amount of damage, but Magus Lockdown and a few amp shots do the job much better. His 1 is useless in hunts, with nothing reliable to cast it on for healing. Besides, you don't get oneshot in hunts much, and with Lavos' super high base armor, the standard Magus Elevate or Repair should be enough. You also don't need Toxin imbue during a hunt. Therefore, I infused Eclipse over his 1.

His 3 will also convert all ammo to Universal ammo. This is really handy for your weapon, however in this run, Cedo already has innate Shotgun Mutation as Lavos' signature weapon perk. It will also convert all health and energy orb drops to Universal Orbs. With his Valence Block passive, you can freely pick up ammo and energy (or health if you really need it) without getting magnetic proc'd due to Valence Block immediately proccing upon pickup. It cleanses you of all status and gives you status immunity for 10s.

Thus, I try to avoid shooting through other Volt shields when it is unnatural for positioning and do not ask for them.
