Problem 4 & 5 damped free vibration, differential equation of motion and damped frequency

Derive an expression for the damped natural frequency of vibrations for the system shown in diagram. The weightless rigid rod is pivoted at point.
For the system shown in diagram, establish the differential equations of motion. Find the value of damping coefficient for which the system is critically damped.
