Early Morning Plane Spotting at Dusseldorf Airport, DUS | 19-09-18

Hi all, after an enjoyable evening in Dusseldorf, I decided to spend the morning before flying home spotting at the airport, where they had an amazing observation deck! One of the best I've visited! At a good cost of €2.20 and a security check, which I think was very appropriate, and should be considered at airports in the UK.

Anyway, what a morning to visit as well, the weather was beautiful to say the least! Ex Hurricane Helene had brought warm weather to most of Western Europe, particularly 30 degrees across much of Germany. Quite possibly the last warm weather I'll be experiencing this year.

There was loads of movements about, at times a constant wave of arrivals and departures! The observation deck offers fantastic views across Runways 23R and 23L, especially take offs on 23L. At times some of the longer rotations meant that some peoples heads got in the way, but only for a brief second, nothing too bad. There was not much I could do about that though
