How to Remove the Windows Subsystem for Linux Icon from the Navigation Pane in File Explorer

If you have installed the Windows Subsystem for Linux feature on your computer, you probably noticed the Linux penguin icon in the navigation pane in File Explorer. Then when you remove the Windows Subsystem for Linux, the icon might stay there and there is no way to remove or unpin it. Fortunately, there is a quick registry edit you can do to remove the Linux icon from File Explorer.
