Guinea pigherd

Guinea pigs happen. After that, depends who they happen to. Just so happened the wife was raised a shepherd's daughter, the husband a homesteader's son. Their opinion of a happy life comes with animals. Their child got guinea pigs, as a matter of course. Having but a house in town, small and simple seemed in order. That went well.

What do farm folk do in town? Adapt. Second nature, their manner of animals, but the point is having them. Work with nature, it works with you.

Pigs are adaptable, too. But their nature is not to stop until they reach limitations. You want to live with animals, their nature and your limits, you'll want to impose them. Turns out it's a challenge, with pigs. Secret ingredient is love. Also work. Worthwhile things are.

Had little idea. Got big. Ohana. The term is cognate with Māori kōhanga, meaning "nest". Wife's Kiwi. Fair excuse. Husband just likes rodents. Neither knew pigs, until the daughter named them Bobies. So they are. One happy family. Of a sort.

Practical dreamers know the way of the world. What it is to them, right alongside what they wish it to be. Wish hard. The wife dreamed last night, guinea pigs took over the world. It was a quiet revolution. Everything was implied.

You want the practical bit? Fair question. How do you keep a number of animals sustainably if you don't sell them, won't eat them, just love them? That could well be up to you. If we figure what the internet wants of guinea pigs, it will translate regard into carrots and such to feed and care for them so long as we both shall live. Certainly, our heart's in it.

Thing is, they're not pets. Nor livestock. How about content? They're pretty content. Just spitballing here, but pigs are fun to watch. We do all the time. Do us a favor. Like what you see. Or, tell us what you do. So long as it's pigs. They're all we got. Our wish.
