Common Modern Reproduction Errors: Greaves, Anatomical Shaping
In this video we take a look at how greaves must be properly shaped to match the anatomical form of the lower leg in order to function properly. Too many modern reproductions ignore the subtlety of the shaping on greaves and the end result is a poor interpretation. Bad greaves tend to rest on the instep of the foot which makes them very uncomfortable to wear and can inhibit normal motion.
