Subaru vs. Suzuki: Snow Climb Challenge!

Central PA has been pretty snow-less this winter, and this is the last chance to do some snow-wheeling before it all melts!

We attempt our local 1000-ft ascent up Pennsylvania Furnace gap in two vehicles:
2009 Subaru Forester 5-speed manual
2002 Suzuki Xl-7 5-speed manual

Both vehicles are equipped with General Altimax Arctic snow tires (no studs).

Conditions are moderately difficult, with about 4 inches of dense, wet slush and ice on the narrow gravel road. It gets fun half way-up!
