Fishing in a Flooded Field with Kangaroos for Company

Is it possible to catch fish in a flooded field? I wanted to find out, so I stripped my tackle down to a single rod, a lightweight Seat Box and a small box of terminal tackle.

I then set off for a long hike past my normal fishing spot to a pond which had been left over from a recent flood event.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the arrival of a Mob of Kangaroos certainly brightened my day. Watch the video to see how I got on.
