How to crush a can without touching it #chemistry
"Crush the can" is a classic demonstration of atmospheric pressure. Hot water vapour is generated inside a pop can, and it is quickly inverted over a container of water.
As the contents quickly cool, the pressure inside drops dramatically and the can is crushed...by the atmosphere!
