The best Fishing Spots around MAHIA, GISBORNE and TOLAGA BAY

In this video we travel to and showcase some beautiful fishing spots in the greater Gisborne area on the East coast of New Zealand's North Island. We start off with the incredible Mahia Peninsula which is one of our favourite fishing destinations in New Zealand. Then we travel to Gisborne and onwards to Tolaga Bay to check out the longest fishing wharf in New Zealand. We camp at the amazing Anarua Bay DOC campsite for some surf fishing and then do a quick drone fishing session at Tokumaru Bay.

As usual we do a mix of kayak fishing, surf fishing, rock fishing and drone fishing at various fishing spots. We catch many different species including snapper, kahawai, trevally, yellow eyed mullet, gurnard, saltwater eels and even some green lipped mussels.
