Klay has been bad for most games this season whether they were the front or the back of a back-2-back.

If you haven't noticed that then you are not paying attention.

It is a joy to watch the ball move with the young guys on the court. It actually looks like classic Warrior basketball.

When Klay is on the court, all too often, an ill-advised shot is jacked up or ball movement stops.

Klay played well against Sixers on Wednesday not because he kept the ball moving but because he shot-faked and made 4 layups. By getting the easy score we weren't left to pray that Klay's opening off-balance jumpers went in. Because all too often this year early misses (which have come far too often) lend themselves to Klay shot-hunting for the rest of the game.

The opening 45 seconds of this game set the tone for the entire game.

Team defense that often doesn't happen with Klay.

Rebounding that often doesn't happen with Klay.

Ball movement that often doesn't happen with Klay.

And then... Something that NEVER happens with Klay...

Podz makes the play that gets Steph the 1st of his string of 3s. Podz gets on the floor and digs out the 50/50 opportunity that sets the tone for this entire game.

This effort, this willingness to get on the floor and scratch out a new 14, does not happen with Klay. With this play, Podz has laid down the blueprint for the entire game. Everyone followed it from that moment on.

What a joy to not be down 12-2 after 2 minutes because Klay's jumper isn't falling.

Klay can have a positive role coming off the bench but he can no longer start if we wish to get into the playoffs.

We've seen him repeatedly put the Warriors in a deep hole right from the get-go of each game this season and that 'approach' has not worked.

If Klay continues to start we will probably have a winning percentage that is equal to Klay's shooting percentage and that shit doesn't even get us into the play-in.

I'm down with last night's starting lineup.
