🖤 Making a Tailored Black Velvet Vest with "Corset" Lacing (and Boning!) 🖤

It's another sewing vlog! Once again I'm slowly trying to use up the existing fabric in my sewing stash. Today I'm working with some beautiful black velvet and turning it into a vest. The design is inspired by romantic gothic sensibilities, but meant to be worn in a variety of different ways. I decided to add some lacing to the back instead of standard waist ties, and added boning to give the vest a structured, smooth silhouette.
