The Best Wax and Sealant Combo! (featuring Obsessed Garage)

BEST PAINT SEALANT AND WAX COMBO!! Featuring Matt from Obsessed Garage! To get the best of both worlds, I like to combine the durability of a synthetic paint sealant with the warm glow and high gloss of a carnauba wax. Not all products are compatible, but one powerful combination that I discovered, thanks to Matt Moreman of Obsessed Garage, is to apply a base layer of Jescar PowerLock+ followed by a top coat of Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. Expect 6 to 8 months of real world durability plus the depth and gloss of a carnauba wax.

Apply a thin coat of Jescar PowerLock+, then buff off. Wait at least 3 hours and then apply a thin layer of Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. After you’ve applied this dynamic duo, maintenance washes will be simple. Wash the vehicle using a pH neutral car shampoo, and after rinsing, while it’s still wet, use your favorite quick detailer as a drying aid and this way you’ll increase the waxe’s longevity and boost gloss levels too.
