Kubwa Kidnap Victims Return Home | Family Speaks After Rescue

Twenty kidnap victims have now been reunited with their families following a joint rescue operation by security agencies.

Among those rescued were children abducted during the attack, including four from a pastor’s family in Pazeyi, a community in the Kubwa area of the FCT, Abuja.

During a visit to the community on Monday, March 9, the father Anthony Anotu expressed gratitude for their safe return after days in captivity.

Their mother, Gloria Anotu, however, says the children remain frightened and are easily startled by sudden sounds following the ordeal.

She has appealed to the government to support efforts to help them recover from the trauma.

Residents are also calling for stronger security measures to address ongoing safety concerns in the area.
