Motion vector visualisation using fluid simulation overlaid on compressed video
Modified version of libavcodec outputs motion vector information from compressed video and the data is consumed by a 2D fluid simulation running in Teh Engine. Each vector advects 'fluid' in the corresponding area on the fluid surface.
'The Matrix Reloaded' source video is uploaded under 'fair use': a short excerpt is used to illustrate a non-commercial research experiment.
