Marshall JCM 800 - Does it hold up for Metal

Today`s video is all about the Legendary Marshall JCM 800! It was the go to amp for rock and Hard rock in the 80’s.
In this case it is the 2204 50 Watt unmodded.

People thinks it has not a lot of gain. And that is truth, but is it enough?

First I play it right into the Amp, then I boost the Amp with a Boss SD1 and then with a Ibanez TS 808. Settings on both pedals are Drive to 0, Level on max and Tone 13 o` clock.

My Guitar has Fishmann Modern Fluence Pickups. Does it hold up for Metal? Let us find out!
