South Korea aims to fight Japan's plan to release water from Fukushima nuclear plant at tribunal

South Korea is stepping up opposition to Japan's decision to release treated water from the Fukushima nuclear plant. Tokyo's ambassador in Seoul has been summoned as protests by fisheries groups continue. South Koreans are worried about the possible radioactive contamination of their marine products. Amid the rallies, President Moon Jae-in is believed to be looking into ways to refer Japan's action to the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, and telling his officials to proactively look into filing for an injunction.
