In this video I talk about a really productive way to spend your time while practicing the social distancing and stay-at-home practices that are so important right now. Build your network! Does that seem strange during a period when we can't even meet others in person? Perhaps, but many potential contacts don't live near us anyway.

Here are three reasons why now is a good time to network:

1. You can help others. How? Informational interviews. They help you, but they will also likely help the other person. They are also sitting at home missing contact with others.

2. It makes a great impression to show that you are dealing with the situation well. You have a plan and are being productive.

3. It makes a great story to tell when all of this is over. Would you rather tell a story about how terrible it was, or would you rather talk about how you were creative and turned a challenging time into a productive time?
