Schools shut as Typhoone Koinu hits Hong Kong

Hundreds of people have been stranded at Hong Kong airport as the remnants of Typhoon Koinu hit the city area.

Koinu had weakened into a severe tropical storm but still brought gale-force winds and heavy rain.
