Mixing Micheal Jackson's Billie Jean Mixing tutorial

In this video I mix Micheal Jackson's Billie Jean from scratch in a 2 hour session. If you are trying to learn mixing, this video is for you! The video shows the entire mix process from start to 90% finished, after which you finalise the mix with a further session, making final subtle tweaks and then do the mastering. The mix was done using only a switching 3-Band Equaliser (Neve 1073 emulation), one instance of an SSL channel strip used on the mono main drum-beat track (for the SSL Gate & VCA channel compressor to tighten the beat), some stock Logic compressors, one main Hall digital reverb & one Gated reverb, plus a couple of stereo delays, that's it. K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid)
