‘Yesterday Once More’, released on the album ‘Now and Then’ on 1st May 1973 and as a single on 2nd June 1973, was the Carpenters’ fifth number-two hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and eighth number-one single on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. It is also their biggest-selling record worldwide and their best-selling single in the UK, peaking at number 2.
