Grandma Gonzo gets chicks

My Araucana hen is seven years old and maybe too old for brooding eggs for 21 days but she's an obsessive broody. I have to make sure she gets up to eat once a day and I don't think she could survive the ordeal for 21 days. But with a bit of planning and magic, she still gets some chicks of her own.
Having a broody hen raise the chicks for you is great if you have a good mother (or in this case Nanny). You just need to give her a quiet sheltered space that's safe for the chicks.
