Two hens

I loaned a home-made trap to a friend whose yard was getting messed up by feral chickens. This is a simple trap made of wood and chicken wire. The chickens step on a plywood board at the far end of the trap, and a nylon cord pulls out the hinged support holding the door open.

It was installed on July 1, 2023. In 6 months it captured more than 70 chickens.
