Should I Learn to Code?

The message in this video is that learning computer programming in today's world can be relatively inexpensive and can provide an individual with a tremendous range of opportunities. An education in technology coupled with a good imagination is a currency appreciating in value as the future unfolds before us.

This video echos the reasons why I started this channel which is to share my passion for technology and to provide free education in computer programming. It is free to download certain code editors to get started for e.g. Visual Studio Community Edition, Visual Studio Code and Unity (please see the links below for details). In today's world, education does not have to be expensive and can be done at an individuals chosen pace. All that is required is an individuals desire to learn.

You may wish to investigate technologies like HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript (and related technologies, jQuery, TypeScript, Angular and React) and become a frontend developer focussing on user experience. You may wish to focus on general purpose programming languages like C#, Java, or C++ coupled with SQL (Structured Query Language) and become a backend developer. You may wish to do it all and become a full-stack developer.
