Connecting with Practice Series NQS PLP - Marking with coloured pencils

This video was developed under the NQS PLP program which was funded until 2014. ECA has continues to provide these videos as a legacy to the original program, however all associated tools and forums are no longer available.

This vignette shows a toddler using coloured pencils to draw and her interactions with an educator. It also shows learning opportunities for young toddlers, impact of physical set-up and educators' roles and conversion.

The Connecting with practice—EYLF and NQS video vignettes are for you to use on your own, or better still, with other educators. The aim is that your discussion will focus on both what and how children are learning and the educator's roles and contribution to the learning.
