Welcome to episode 3 of the Airbus Training series, In this video we pick up where we left off in video 2 "Single Engine Taxi." With our aircraft ready for departure we will now take the runway and execute a takeoff.

In this episode we will cover
- FLEX vs TOGA
-Energy management technique
-Climb Phase

The goal of this lesson is to help you understand the differences between FLEX and TOGA takeoff's and the reasons for each. While FLEX is very common in the real world, I describe why its not very necessary to do in the simulator unless you are chasing maximum realism. We will also go over the proper runway takeoff roll technique to maintain aircraft centerline. After rotation I will also discuss the ways of energy management and how to position the aircraft as to not overspeed any flight control surfaces.
