$130k camera shows invisible gas spewing out of Texas oil facilities
We traveled to the Permian Basin to investigate why the oil and gas industry burns $700M a year worth of natural gas through a practice called "flaring" instead of selling it. While there, we met Sharon Wilson, a "methane hunter" who uses a $130k camera to document the pollution the industry doesn't want you to see. Here's what she showed us.
