Retrograde meets Mass Effect (HD): M4 Part II Faunts music video
Spoilers.
Dolph Lundgren goes into space in this very bad science-fiction action movie directed by Christopher Kulikowski. Retrograde (2004) had a low budget (around $2,000,000) and was filmed in Luxembourg (interiors) and Italy (exterior). Principal shooting took just 18 days. It was then edited over two weeks and mixed in one day. It had a theatrical release in South Korea.
Retrograde (2004) is quite possibly Dolph's worst movie and but he at least gets to go into space and the essential idea to the story is fairly good:
Two superhumans from the future (wearing Hein Gericke leather motorcycle pants and jackets as futuristic clothes for some reason) are sent back in time to stop the outbreak of an alien plague brought to Earth by meteors. Dolph's orders are to purge the virus from history either through vaccination or obliteration (hence the cylindrical bomb that looks like it belongs in Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze). But his partner, Dalton (Joe Montana), has plans to seize the time-travelling spaceship and precious vaccines for himself. With the help of a single-mum scientist (Silvia de Santis) and a martial arts sailor (Gary Daniels) its up to Dolph to save the Planet Earth!
I tried my best to condense the major plot points and cover all the main characters into about 9 minutes. It's not perfect but I had fun making it. This video was inspired by a much cooler video of Mass Effect by Hyperdex74: http://youtu.be/RzniBoBcboE
The music is an extended version of M4 Part II Faunts 37 by Jack Wall and Sam Hulick used for the video game Mass Effect. I also added Spaceman to the credits.
