Toyota’s decided to repurpose the Urban Cruiser name for a fully electric crossover that’s about the size of a Yaris Cross, but with a slightly extended wheelbase for more cabin space. This EV rides on an all-new dedicated platform co-developed with Suzuki, meaning it’s effectively the Toyota-badged twin of the Suzuki e-Vitara. Range and performance? You’ll have two battery options—a 49kWh or 61kWh lithium-iron phosphate pack—giving you various power outputs from 142bhp FWD up to 181bhp AWD.
